While the CATRINE project has only recently started, its importance for the further development and extension of the European Union’s Copernicus Earth Observation programme has already been emphasized by the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), CATRINE coordinator.
The CATRINE consortium brings together 8 partners from 4 European countries (Germany, Netherlands, France and Finland) plus one Intergovernmental organisation, ECMWF (an International European Research Organisation).
